Problem

Large soil spectral libraries are distributed across institutions, instruments, regions, and governance contexts. Collaboration requires consistent QA/QC and model-transfer evidence without assuming that raw spectra can be centralized or that one calibration transfers everywhere.

Role

Giannis developed and evaluated soil-spectroscopy quality-control and federated modelling components, reproducible processing, diagnostics, figures, and technical communication with institutional collaborators.

Limits and Next Steps

Instrument differences, reference laboratory methods, geography, sample composition, preprocessing choices, and governance agreements affect transfer. Additional local calibration and partner review may be required.
